Dominatrix holding out for a hero. Multi award-winning London-based Chris Turner is a staple in the Plaza watch and jewellery photo diet. This photo, with a doctor wearing an early Richard Mille, arose from a simple brief: ”Heroes”. – There aren’t many real heroes today, but people working in healthcare are among them, Mr Turner said after producing the series named Holding out for a hero, published in Plaza Watch issue no. 5 in 2008. © Plaza Watch / Chris Turner

Le Manufacture. Daniel Lindh is a perfectionist. You can find him in his studio day or night during an assignment – to pumping electronic beats he just keeps working until it is finished. For Le Manufacture, published in Plaza Watch issue no. 7 the team ventured to a technical university where they borrowed this extremely advanced robotic arm used for research. The robot is almost as precious as the beautiful skeletonized IWC watch that it is wearing. © Plaza Watch / Daniel Lindh

Master of the Universe. Several prestigious Swiss brands often let Jean-Paul shoot their advertising images. For the Masters of the Universe story in Plaza Watch issue no. 05, Mr Cattin combined high horology with comic heroes. Which proved unexpectedly good company to the exquisite watch from A. Lange und Söhne. © Plaza Watch /Jean-Paul Cattin
