Two prizes for A. Lange & Söhne at leading readers’ poll of the watch world This year's vote for “Goldene Unruh 2011” (Golden Balance 2011) has resulted in two prizes for A. Lange & Söhne: In the top category “watches priced over 25,000 Euro” the winner was the Saxonia Annual Calendal, launched last year.

The 1815 Moonphase from the anniversary collection „165 Years – Homage to F. A. Lange“ was awarded the second prize in the category “watches priced up to 25,000 Euro”. The awards were received by the founder of the company Walter Lange and Lange CEO Wilhelm Schmid.

Since 1998, the readers of the watch journal „Uhren- Magazin“ and the registered users of “Focus-Online” vote for “the best watches in the world”. In a two-stage procedure about 11,000 participants of one of the biggest readers’ poll in the watch world had to choose among almost 400 mechanical watches. The timepieces of A. Lange & Söhne have been voted ten times winner and in total twenty times into the top three.
