Description

Three-hand watch with subsidiary seconds. Caliber 62-00

Limited editions in platinum 950 (1), 18 K white gold (8), or red gold (58).
Cambered, fully polished case. Diameter 41 mm, height 12.65 mm. Screwed bezel with cambered sapphire crystal. Screwed sapphire-crystal caseback and a domed, hinged cuvette with a patented release mechanism actuated by the strap lugs.
Guilloched dial in 18 K gold with applied 18 K gold Roman numerals (platinum model with mother-of-pearl inlays), gold hands.
Manually wound movement (signed Minerva, Villeret) with 50 hours’ power reserve when fully wound; adjusted in 5 positions. Movement diameter 24 mm (12 3/4’’), movement height 3.9 mm, 19 jewels (hemispherical, cambered, olive-cut). 3 chaton-set jewels.
Indications: center hours and minutes, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock.
Shock-proofed screw balance (D = 9.7 mm, 15 mgcm2) with 18,000 semi-oscillations per hour (2.5 Hz), flat spring with whiplash precision index adjuster. The mass screws are underlaid with thin platinum or gold washers to poise the balance.
Ebauche in rhodiumed German silver, bridges beveled by hand and decorated with Geneva striping. Perlage on both plate sides and rear bridge faces. Perlage inside spring barrel. Beveled winding-wheel teeth. Countersinks for bridge screws with mirror-polished recesses. Screws flat, faceted, and polished.
All pinions with polished end faces and polished arbors.
Gold plated wheels with cerclage pattern and faceted spokes. Hub with traditional specular polish.
Hand-stitched alligator strap with patented cuvette release mechanism actuated by strap lugs; prong buckle in 18 K red gold, white gold, or platinum 950.
