Gucci is pleased to introduce the latest addition to the esteemed Pantheon collection. Designed by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini, this prestigious automatic sport watch reflects Gucci’s ongoing commitment to produce superior timepieces. Inspired by classic technical timepieces, this version is water resistant to 300 meters (1,000 feet). It retains the same aesthetic and quality standards of the Pantheon collection, yet this new addition offers the increased performance and sophistication demanded by Gucci’s discerning clientele. This style reaches new levels of excellence in the prestige timepiece category. With 120 positions, the prominent bezel allows a smooth unidirectional rotation system ensuring maximum security. The watch face is boldly punctuated by large luminous hands and markers that can be easily read in any condition. The red second hand elegantly stands out on either the white or black dial.  Not only is this a highly functional timepiece, but it also reflects Gucci’s style. Both the crown and caseback are screwed ensuring perfect water resistance, technical precision and yet also offering a striking look. Complementing the clean lines is the introduction of Gucci’s house crest and logo which have been engraved on the back of the case. First introduced in the early 1950s by Guccio Gucci, the crest depicts a knight in armor carrying luggage. Above the knight there is a rose and helm, chosen to symbolize respectively a certain refinement and the entrepreneurial power of the family. The crest was an early branding tool for Gucci, used on luggage interiors, packaging and stationery, and has now been re-inserted into a modern day context. Giannini’s ability to marry classic historical elements of Gucci’s past with her own modern vision of the future makes this watch a distinctive, covetable choice.
