A feast of conviviality! The word is just about strong enough to describe the mood at the inauguration of the Arcade – the salon for the members of the “Cercle de l’Horlogerie” and for aficionados – opened at 1, Avenue Industrielle, in Geneva.

Nearly 200 guests including a large number of informed watch lovers, famous watchmakers and eminent brand representatives, gathered until late in these warm and friendly surroundings to discover, discuss, bring up and consider the different facets of the watchmaking art.

This place, exclusively dedicated to members of the “Cercle de l’Horlogerie” and watchlovers is today open, and is drawing up a calendar for the coming weeks for encounters with the big market players at conferences, and private presentations. It will also offer a chance to discover the watch industry magazine “Movment” specially created for members of the “Cercle”, to perfect their knowledge with learning sessions of watchmaking skills, to be able to enjoy advantages, services and privileges that go with their membership of the “Cercle” and find other members by the water bar and the library to converse about a shared and constantly enriched passion.
