CYRUS - Freddy Nock Winner of a Swiss Award

The famous tightrope walker - ambassador of Cyrus watches - has received a Swiss Award on January 14th for his outstanding achievements.

Press release

Coming from one of the oldest dynasties in the circus world (the NOCK family), Freddy Nock was initiated to tightrope walking at the age of four, but it was only later, around the age of ten, that he performed his first high wire walk.

From 1998 to 2011, Freddy Nock set a series of world records, achieving the ultimate accolade, seven world records in seven days, in August 2011 . DR

Freddy Nock commands admiration when he tells us that at no time does he even consider the possibility of falling off the cable, whether walking on it at temperatures of -15 degrees, with winds of 80km per hour, altitudes of 3,300 metres. He never contemplated this, not just mentally, but also physically, because he never attaches a safety cable. He may fall; he may not grab hold. But is this not the mind-set of those who succeed? These people have such confidence in themselves, that they do not need to feel reassured. They are their own king. They decide what things will happen. They take charge of their own destiny. Is this not how one should look at life? Is this not true freedom?

Freddy Nock is now preparing the next challenge of his life that will be realized in May with Cyrus watches on his wrists. Wait and see. The story just begun.
