Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix announcement
Having been appointed CEO of De Bethune, a position he will occupy from March 2011 onwards, Pierre Jacques is stepping down at the end of December 2010 from his role within the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix management. As director of the company that organises the event, Pierre Jacques has played a key part over the past two years in fostering the expansion, the globalization and the professionalisation of the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix. We thank him most sincerely for the work he has accomplished and wish him every success in the new challenge he is preparing to take on.
The Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix is pursuing its expansion under the leadership of Carlo Lamprecht, former President of the Geneva State Council, who is to chair the Foundation that will be set up in 2011, and will thus oversee this inescapable fixture in the watch industry calendar. The Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix can also rely on the unfailing commitment of Carine Maillard, the administrator, who will continue to coordinate the organisation of the Grand Prix and the accompanying international exhibitions in Singapore, Geneva, Zurich and Paris.
