The Patek Philipp Museum has just launched an exceptional exhibition concerning "Chinese" watches. Manufactured during the 18th and 19th centuries in Europe, their role was to help to developp the commercial relations with China. However, a Chinese tradition dictates that every gift must be presented in double. The reason these watches were always produced in two "mirrored" exemples.
