Dominique Fléchon

After his studies in business and a rich experience in marketing and sale of industrial products, Dominique Fléchon joined in 1994 the Richemont Group as a historian in old watches, specialized in the evolution of watchmaking of the Group’s brands. In 2006 he joined the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie with as primary responsibility the editorial content of this organization.

Author of books written after specific researches to serve as catalogs for exhibitions organized by the author at the request of the organizers of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva, the Salon Belles Montres in Paris, Munichtime in Munich ...

Author or co-author of numerous books, such as:
« L’orologiaio, mestiere d’arte » (1999)
« Baume & Mercier, Mémoire des marques » (2002)
and in collaboration with F. COLOGNI:
« Cartier, la montre Tank » (1998)
« Les secrets de Vacheron Constantin » (2005).

Lecturer for organizations such as:
Institut supérieur de Marketing de Luxe, Paris ;
Institut de la Mode, Paris ;
Créative Academy, Milan.

1. The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève is a prestigious event offering the opportunity to honor the achievements of brands or watchmakers from all sources, rich with sensitivity and knowledge of the most diverse.
2. To pay tribute, in my own way, to those who devote their lives to create technical, aesthetic and very personal objects.
3. Its ability to be a reflection of the personality of its owner.
