Alexey Tarkhanov

Born in 1959, Alexey Tarkhanov is an architect by training (Institute of Architecture in Moscow, 1983). He works as a journalist and art critic. His book on the architecture of the Soviet era "Stalinist Architecture" was published in England, Germany and the United States. For 15 years, he is the head of the culture department and the editor of the watchmaking supplement of the daily newspaper "Kommersant"- Часы / Watches. He supervises the watchmaking pages of "GQ" Conde Nast Russia, and collaborates with Vogue, Tatler, AD, Forbes. He is a Moscow correspondent for the Journal de la Haute Horlogerie. He writes on architecture, design, visual arts. He lives in Moscow, is married and has three children.
