TRIBUNE DES ARTS - Passing of Mr Gabriel Tortella

The Edipresse Group is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mr Gabriel Tortella, who succumbed to an illness at the age of 71.

Gabriel Tortella was the founder of the Tribune des Arts, the art and watchmaking magazine created in 1979. He was also at the origin of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie of Geneva that celebrated its tenth edition last November.

A compulsive collector and an enthusiastic journalist, Gabriel Tortella accompanied the development of high-end watchmaking and knew how to share his passion with an ever larger public. With the whole team at the Tribune des Arts, he made one of the most symbolic sectors of the Swiss economy popular.
