Skeleton movement

A movement whose plate, bridges and other sections have been cut away to expose the workings of the watch, leaving only the core substance needed for the watch to function. The movement is placed between two sapphire crystals to make the most of its transparency. At Vacheron Constantin, this type of decoration is carried out entirely by hand.
