Dr. Jürgen R. Lange, born in Leipzig (Germany) on November 1st, 1950, was educated in Germany.
He studied electronic information technology, graduated as engineer and is doctor in precision engineering. His business background includes:
* Senior Executive and Technical Director of VDO AG (major supplier to the international car industry) in Frankfurt, Germany
* Technical Director of IWC in Schaffhausen, Switzerland
Dr. Jürgen R. Lange is vice-president and delegate of the director’s board of Moser Group AG with special scope on Strategy, Engineering and Marketing. He is also vice-president of the director’s board of Moser Schaffhausen AG, Precision Engineering AG and MSG AG Manufacturing Support Group.
During his work for VDO he met the managing director from IWC (which at the time belonged to the VDO group together with A. Lange & Söhne and Jaeger-LeCoultre), the late Mr. Günther Blümlein, who brought him to Schaffhausen. After four years with IWC he made his dream come true and became an independent entrepreneur, registering the brand name H. Moser & Cie. and co-founding Moser Schaffhausen AG.
Dr. Jürgen R. Lange is married and has three daugthers.
