BOVET produces an increasing number of highly complicated Fleurier watches to satisfy the most demanding customers.
Each movement is an original construction developed exclusively by BOVET and Switzerland’s leading watchmakers.
The complications range from a central jumping hours to astounding combinations of minute-repeater, perpetual calendar and tourbillon.
The most sophisticated complications require an upside-down movement to display the action of the repeater’s chiming hammers and the tourbillon on the dial side. That in turn needs the gearing of the hands to be reversed so they turn clockwise dial-side. The complicated movements are finely decorated with fleurisanne engraving.
Each takes hundreds of hours to create and involves the highest watchmaking and craft skills.
